The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) along with the joint IT-BPO industry associations in collaboration with the academia and key private players in the local ICT arena, is working with top experts in the industry to devise a national strategy to propel the rapid growth of the Sri Lankan IT-BPO industry.

The key objective of the national strategy is to provide a framework for high end capacity building within the ICT industry and to upscale the professional talent pool to include experts who are beyond ‘mere software engineers’.
